"Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow."-Isaiah 1:17

About Us

We are Frank and Dena Carr and here is a little information about us.  We met at Toccoa Falls College in northern Georgia in the fall of 1997.  We got married in the summer of 2000.  Our firstborn son was welcomed in winter of 2001, followed by our second son in fall of 2003.  We welcomed our first daughter in spring of 2006 and another delightful son in early spring 2010.  We strongly felt the calling to adopt in December 2010 and shortly after began the process.  However, we had to pause the process as we were expecting another child!  During the pregnancy, we also moved during that time as well.  We welcomed our forth handsome son in December 2011!  God has truly blessed us with each and every one of our children and they all are such a delight in our household.  Dena stays at home and homeschools the children and loves teaching them their academics but most importantly teaching them to love our Lord and to live for Him.  Frank is an officer in the Army and has completed a tour to Iraq and Afghanistan.  He does not like to deploy and be away from his family, but God has a reason for him in the military at this time, thus Frank serves our country unselfishly as he ultimately serves God.

As a family, we love camping, hiking, playing board games, wrestling, reading, and playing sports together.  We stay very busy with such activities and enjoy growing stronger as a family!

We love God and enjoy serving Him in whatever capacity that He may have for us.  God has loved us first, as unlovable and disgusting we are in our sin, and has adopted us as His children.  We are in obedience to His ultimate will in our lives and at this time it involves us adopting a child that is deemed unlovable in the poverty stricken country of the DR of Congo.  In our obedience to God, our adoption will parallel God's love for us, as sinners.

Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this long and sometimes difficult process.  We covet each and every prayer.  If you feel lead, we would humbly accept any financial help as well.
